Working Principle of the Brotek Ultrasonic Level Transmitter

The Brotek ultrasonic level transmitter operates based on the principle of ultrasonic wave emission and reflection.

  1. Pulse Emission:
    The device emits ultrasonic pulses through the air toward the surface of the material to be measured (liquid or solid).
  2. Echo Reflection:
    These ultrasonic waves hit the material surface and reflect back toward the sensor.
  3. Time Measurement:
    The transmitter accurately measures the time taken for the echo to return to the sensor.
  4. Distance Calculation:
    Using the speed of sound, the device calculates the distance between the sensor and the material surface based on the travel time.
  5. Level Conversion:
    This distance is then converted into a real-time level measurement, providing accurate monitoring of material levels in the tank or vessel.
