Brotek Multi-function RF admittance Level switch is an object position switch instrument based on the principle of RF capacitance measurement, This switch is a digital intelligent instrument, it uses digital real-time display measurement capacitance value, and can automatically set the alarm point and return error by long press a single key, simplify the operation of field personnel.
Provide a variety of alarm output mode, convenient field integration. which includes: single point alarm (DPDT), double point alarm (2 SPDT), two point position control (liquid level control, DPDT). It used with two probe rods to provide a separate alarm point for each probe rod.
How Capacitance Level Switch Works
Brotek RF Admittance level switch uses oscillating circuit method to measure the capacitance between the probe and the container tank wall.
a probe-tank wall capacitance and an internal circuit constitute an improved Colpitts oscillation circuit. when the dielectric height changes, the capacitance changes with it, resulting in a change in the oscillation frequency. This frequency signal is collected by the microcontroller and converted to capacitance value display. At the same time, the microcontroller will set the relay output according to the measured capacitance value and the set alarm point. Compared with other capacitance measurement methods, the measurement value of oscillating circuit method is more stable, not easy to be affected by electromagnetic interference, and the response time is fast.
